This page gathers the 1st year, or 11th class, study material published on Zahid Notes in one place. It covers material for Punjab board 1st year students and, where a linked post says so, Federal Board (FBISE) HSSC Part 1 material as well, so always check the board named on the post you open. Use the sections below to move straight to notes, guess papers, pairing schemes or past papers.
1st Year Notes
Start with the complete notes collection, then browse everything else published for this class.
1st Year Guess Papers
Guess papers highlight the questions students are most likely to practise before the exam. They do not replace the full syllabus, so use them after your notes.
1st Year Pairing Schemes
Pairing schemes show how questions are grouped across chapters. Keep the two board systems separate: BISE Punjab schemes come from the Punjab Boards, while FBISE schemes come from the Federal Board, and a scheme for one board should not be used as the scheme for the other.
1st Year Past Papers
Past papers are the best way to practise time management and question wording, and this class already has a combined collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where should a 1st year student start on this page?
Start with the complete notes, then use the guess paper for revision and the paper pattern to plan how much time each section deserves.
Are guess papers enough on their own?
No. Guess papers are for focused revision after the notes and textbook work are done, not a substitute for the full syllabus.
Do BISE Punjab and FBISE use the same pairing scheme?
No. They are separate boards with separate schemes, so open the scheme post for your own board and check the board name before you follow it.
Which past paper collection should 1st year students use first?
Use the combined solved and unsolved Punjab boards collection linked above, and check whether your board is named on that post before you practise from it.
