The 10th Class Result 2026 is the matric (SSC Part-II) result for students across Punjab — the final year of school before college. This guide is Punjab-wide: it covers all nine Punjab boards together and helps you find your own board first, because every board publishes its result on its own website. It is not a guide for one board only, and it is not the 9th class result guide: 9th class (SSC Part-I) and 10th class (SSC Part-II) are separate examinations with separate announcements, so make sure you are checking the Part-II result for your own class and board.
Step 1: Find your board
Punjab has nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Your board is decided by the district of your school, and it is also printed on your roll number slip. Find your district in this list, then open that board’s official website:
- BISE Lahore — Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib
- BISE Gujranwala — Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin
- BISE Faisalabad — Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot
- BISE Multan — Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, Lodhran
- BISE Rawalpindi — Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal
- BISE Sargodha — Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar
- BISE Bahawalpur — Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan
- BISE DG Khan — Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur
- BISE Sahiwal — Sahiwal, Okara, Pakpattan
Checking on the wrong board’s website is one of the commonest reasons a Punjab student’s search returns nothing, so confirm your board before you start.
Step 2: Check your result by roll number
Once you are on your own board’s official website, the method is the same across all nine boards. Keep your roll number slip ready, because the portal searches by the exact roll number.
- Open your board’s official website.
- Find the Results section on the board website.
- Select your examination — SSC Part-II (10th class, matric) — and the session you appeared in.
- Enter your roll number exactly as printed on your slip.
- Submit the form to view your detailed result, including subject-wise marks and your overall status.
Save or print the result page for your own record. The online result is provisional information; the official result card issued through your school is the final document.
What your matric result means
Your 10th class result completes your Secondary School Certificate. It is the result colleges ask for when you apply for admission to FA, FSc, ICS or ICom, so keep the original result card safe once it arrives through your school. If your result shows a subject you did not pass, that subject alone can be retaken — you do not repeat the whole class — through the board’s supplementary (second annual) examination, under the schedule your board announces.
Gazette and name search
When the roll number slip is not available, check whether your board’s portal offers a name search for your session. Boards also release an official result gazette — a consolidated, roll-number-wise document — on their own websites after an announcement, which can confirm a result without a roll number. Only trust a gazette downloaded from your board’s own website; forwarded copies on social media may be incomplete or tampered with.
Result-day problems and quick fixes
- Result not found: Re-enter the roll number digit by digit, and confirm you selected SSC Part-II and the correct session. Opening the 9th class (Part-I) result, or the supplementary session instead of the annual one, is a common cause.
- Wrong board website: If your district is not in your board’s list above, you are on the wrong board’s site. Go back to Step 1 and find your board from your district.
- Website not opening: Result announcements bring a rush of visitors, and a board portal can slow down sharply in the first hour. Wait a few minutes and try again; avoid repeated rapid submissions.
- Unexpected status shown: First confirm the record belongs to your roll number, then look up your board’s rechecking notification if you want a paper reviewed.
Rechecking and supplementary exams
If you believe your marks are incorrect, your board announces a paper-rechecking process through its own notification, with its own procedure and deadline. Follow that notification rather than any date circulating on unofficial pages. If you did not pass a subject, you can appear in the board’s supplementary (second annual) examination for that subject under the schedule the board announces. Your school office can help with the forms for both options. Procedures and deadlines differ by board, so always follow your own board’s notification, not another board’s.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which Punjab board I belong to? Your board is decided by your school’s district — see the list above — and it is printed on your roll number slip. If you are unsure, ask your school office.
Is the 10th Class Result 2026 announced on the same day for all Punjab boards? Each board announces on its own website under its own notification. Do not assume one board’s date applies to another board — always check your own board’s announcement.
Is this the same as a single board’s matric guide? No. This guide covers all nine Punjab boards and helps you find your board. Board-specific guides on this site cover one board’s process in detail.
Can I check the 10th Class Result 2026 by name? Roll number is the primary method on every board. Some sessions offer name search on the portal, and the official gazette on your board’s website is another route to confirm a result.
Is the online result the final result? No. It is provisional. The official result card delivered through your school is the final record.
What happens if I fail a subject? You can take the supplementary (second annual) examination for that subject when your board announces its schedule. Ask your school for help with admission.

Zahid Notes is an independent study guide website and is not affiliated with any Punjab board. Dates and procedures vary by board and session, so always confirm the current announcement on your own board’s official website.
