If you appeared in the matriculation (10th class) examination under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, this guide shows how to check the BISE Lahore Matric Result online by roll number. The Lahore board conducts examinations for the districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. This guide covers SSC Part-II — the 10th class, the final year of matric — only. It is not the 9th class result guide and not the 11th or 12th class result guide: each class result is a separate announcement with its own session on the board website, so make sure you open the Part-II result for your own class. Your matric result completes your Secondary School Certificate and is the document colleges ask for when you apply for admission to FA, FSc, ICS or ICom.
How to check the BISE Lahore Matric Result by roll number
Before you start, keep your roll number slip ready. The result portal searches by the exact roll number, so one wrong digit will return no record.
- Open the official website of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore (biselahore.com).
- Find the Results section on the board website.
- Select your examination — SSC Part-II (10th class, matric) — and the session you appeared in.
- Enter your roll number exactly as printed on your slip.
- Submit the form to view your detailed result, including subject-wise marks and your overall status.
Save or print the result page for your own record. The online result is provisional information; the official result card issued through your school is the final document.
If the result page is slow or shows nothing
Result announcements bring a rush of visitors to the board website, and the portal can slow down sharply in the first hour. Waiting a few minutes and trying again usually solves it. If the search still returns nothing, re-check two things: the roll number digit by digit, and whether you selected the correct class and session. Opening the 9th class (Part-I) result when you appeared in Part-II, or picking the supplementary session instead of the annual one, is the commonest cause of a “not found” message.
Other ways to confirm your result
When the roll number slip is not available, check whether the board’s portal offers a name search for your session. The board also releases an official result gazette — a consolidated, roll-number-wise document — on its own website after an announcement, which can confirm a result without a roll number. Only trust a gazette downloaded from the board’s website; forwarded copies on social media may be incomplete or tampered with.
Rechecking, supplementary exams and what comes next
If you believe your marks are incorrect, the board announces a paper-rechecking process through its own notification, with its own procedure and deadline. Follow that notification rather than any date circulating on unofficial pages. If you did not pass a subject, you can appear in the board’s supplementary (second annual) examination for that subject under the schedule the board announces. Your school office can help with the forms for both options. Once your matric result is confirmed, it is also the result you use for admission to college — keep the original result card safe, because colleges ask for it during admission.
Quick troubleshooting
- Result not found: Re-enter the roll number carefully and confirm you selected SSC Part-II and the correct session.
- Website not opening: Retry after a short wait; avoid repeated rapid submissions.
- Unexpected status shown: First confirm the record belongs to your roll number, then look up the board’s rechecking notification if you want the paper reviewed.
- Result section hard to find: Board websites change layout between sessions, so use the site’s notifications area to locate the current result link.
