Students of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad — FBISE, also searched by students simply as the Federal Board — can check the FBISE Result 2026 Class 9 online with their roll number once the board announces it. FBISE is Pakistan’s federal examining body, based in Islamabad, and it is different from the Punjab boards: it conducts examinations for institutions in the Islamabad Capital Territory, for cantonment and garrison schools across Pakistan, and for FBISE-affiliated institutions abroad. In the FBISE system, SSC Part-I is class 9, so this guide covers class 9 (SSC Part-I) only — not class 10, which is SSC Part-II and is announced separately.
Checking the FBISE Result 2026 Class 9 online, step by step
Your roll number slip is the one thing you need before you begin. The portal matches the roll number exactly, so type it carefully.
- Visit the official website of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad (fbise.edu.pk).
- Go to the Results section of the website.
- Choose SSC Part-I (class 9) along with the correct examination session — annual or second annual, whichever you appeared in.
- Type your roll number exactly as printed on your slip.
- Submit the form to see your subject-wise marks and result status.
Take a screenshot or print the page for your records. The online result is provisional: the official result document that reaches you through your institution is the final record, so keep that safe when it arrives.
When the website is slow on result day
Result day brings heavy traffic to every board website, and the Federal Board’s is no exception. If the page does not open, wait a while and try again instead of submitting the same roll number repeatedly. Also confirm that you selected the right class and session — picking SSC Part-II (class 10) when you appeared in Part-I, or the wrong session, is the most frequent reason a result does not appear, and it has nothing to do with whether you passed or failed.
Name search and the official gazette
If you have lost your roll number slip, first check whether the board’s result portal offers a name search for your session. The board also publishes an official result gazette — a downloadable document listing candidates roll-number-wise — on its own website after an announcement. Use only the gazette from the board’s website; gazette copies forwarded on social media may be incomplete or edited.
What to do after you see your result
Two situations come up most often after a result. If you feel your marks do not reflect your paper, the board issues its own notification about paper rechecking, with its own procedure and deadline — follow that notification, not a date quoted on an unofficial page. If you could not pass a subject, you can sit the board’s second annual examination for that subject when the board announces its schedule. In both cases your school or college office can help you with the application steps.
Troubleshooting
- No record found: Check each digit of the roll number and confirm you selected SSC Part-I and the correct session.
- Page timing out: Wait and retry; the first hour after announcement is the busiest period.
- Result shows an unexpected status: Make sure you are looking at your own roll number’s record, then read the board’s rechecking notification if you want a review.
- Cannot find the result section: The board’s website layout can change between sessions, so use the site’s own search or notifications area to locate the current result link.
