FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 — Written vs Practical Guide

FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 written vs practical guide
FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 — written vs practical guide.

Status checked on 26 October 2026: This guide is based on the official FBISE datesheets listing at fbise.edu.pk, which lists “Date sheet for HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026” as added on 12 October 2026, and on that datesheet PDF itself, dated 12 October 2026. The written examination window, the evening session time and the practical start date below were verified from that official PDF on 26 October 2026. If a subject date is not listed here, it is not yet verified in this guide — check the official PDF before your exam day.

The FBISE datesheet covers Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-I and Part-II, 2nd Annual Examination 2026. It states that the examination shall commence with effect from Thursday, 12 November 2026. Do not treat the examples in the tables below as the full datesheet: they are the entries that could be read clearly from the official PDF, grouped by Part-I and Part-II.

Closed days shown in the written schedule include Sundays. The practical start date does not change the written window: written papers end on 17 December 2026, and practicals for non-PBA subjects start after that, on 21 December 2026.

Written vs practical: how to use this guide

For written papers

Use the evening session time, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with attendance at 1:30 pm, and confirm your own subject and date in the official PDF. A paper listed for one part does not apply to the other part, even when the subject name is similar.

For practical papers

Practicals for subjects excluding PBA subjects start from Monday, 21 December 2026, according to note (iii) of the official datesheet. This guide does not add a practical end date, a practical session time, or a PBA schedule, because those were not verified from the official PDF in this check.

Check before you travel

The official datesheet also states that mobile phones and smart watches are strictly prohibited in the examination centre. Always re-check the official FBISE datesheets listing on your exam day, because a revised notice would replace an earlier schedule.
