FBISE HSSC 1 total marks and syllabus 2024

 Federal board, FBISE is an educational board that deals with the students of federal areas and abroad. The syllabus and the total marks and marks division for this board for Higher Secondary School level, HSSC level is given here.

FBISE HSSC Part 1 Syllabus

The federal board has given instructions on its website as I have described below. The syllabus for 1st year, class 11 for the federal board is given as:

Compulsory subjects

These subjects are compulsory regardless of what elective subjects you choose. These are mandatory for every student of class 11.

1. Urdu (compulsory) OR Pakistani Culture(for foreign students)
2. English ( Compulsory) OR English Advance
3. Pakistan Studies (Compulsory)
4. Islamic Education compulsory (for Muslims) OR Civics (For non-Muslims)

Elective Subjects

The board has divided the subjects into 3 groups and the students have to choose one group from the given three groups. 

Every group has three or four subjects. So, the student will take three elective subjects.

Groups 1 (Pre-engineering group)

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics

Group 2 (Pre-medical group)

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Maths

Groups 3 (Commerce Group)

• Principles of economics
• Principles of commerce
• Principles of accounting
• Business maths

Groups 5 (Humanities Group)

The student will choose ANY THREE subjects from the following list.

So, there are total of 7 subjects in part 1 of HSSC in the federal board.

Total marks of HSSC FBISE

The total marks are broken here as:

Compulsory subjects

• English = 100 marks
• Urdu / Pakistani Culture = 100 marks
• Pakistan studies = 50 marks
• Islamic Education / civics = 50 marksOptions subjects (according to a group)

Optional subjects

Subject 1 = 100 marks
Subject 2 = 100 marks
Subject 3 = 100 marks

Note: In the Commerce groups, there are four subjects. Principles of Economics and Principles of Commerce both have 75 marks each in HSSC part 1 and the same in part 2.

Total marks for HSSC part 1 = 550

Now let me tell you the total marks for class HSSC part 2

Total marks for class 12th

The total marks for the 12 class are the same as in the 11 class. The same marks for all compulsory and optional subjects are in class 12. So:

Total marks for HSSC part 2 = 550

In this way, there are 1100 marks for matric class FBISE, federal board.
