NUMS Admission Requirements and Eligibility
1. Applicant should have passed FSc Pre-Medical with a minimum of 65% marks. (60% for BDS)2. A-Level and O-Level candidates are required to bring their equivalent certificates
3. Applicants are required to apply online for NUMS-MDCAT & Aptitude Test at www.numspak.edu.pk once the registration opens
4. The institute plans to make the exam competitive, thereby making 'high score' the criterion for enrollment
5. Applicants are also recommended to gather their previous academic certificates before applying
6. Students must pass the entry test conducted by the university for the relevant program admission. For example NUMS-MDCAT test for MBBS and BDS courses etc.

NUMS Admission Process
First, students are required to choose from the above-listed degree programs before applying. In this regard, we recommend every student to assess each program well and see if it matches his interest and qualification.The admission procedure is given below:
1. 1st of all, the students visit the website of NUMS (www.numspak.edu.pk) and register themselves for the entry test. It is solely held by NUMS for all medical admissions. It is also called MDCAT. But it is not the same is National MDCAT test. It is made and taken by NUMS itself.
2. The students take the entry test on the given dates and centers.
3. The University announces the Entry test results. The students having 55% marks pass the test.
4. The students who pass the entry test submit their documents for admission to the University Campus. Students can also apply online for admission.
5. The university evaluates students' applications and publishes merit lists for the admission to various programs.

NUMS Fee Structure & Admission Dates
The standard fee structure for MBBS and BDS programs is given below. This fee implies the tuition fee; additional charges are expected to be paid.
The fee structure for other degree programs varies and not a matter of discussion here. Every year, the admission phase begins in fixed months, followed by the display of merit lists in October/November, and the commencement of classes.

Important dates for NUMS Entry Test 2026
1. Online registration for MBBS and DBS admission test starts on July 12, 20262. The last date for online registration is August 10, 2026
3. The last date for paying the registration fee is August 11, 2026
4. Entry test will be conducted on October 3, 2026 at 10 AM
Note:
Applicants shall have to pay Rs. 7500 PKR as the registration fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
NUMS Online Registration Procedure for Entry test
1. Use a laptop or computer to visit www.numspak.edu.pk2. Find NUMS-MDCAT & Aptitude Test on the website and click
3. As soon as it opens, fill the application form with your personal information
4. After filling in the information, save the generated challan form and print it for bank deposit
5. Keep your CNIC/Form-B, photograph, academic certificates scanned before applying online
Syllabus for NUMS-MDCAT & Aptitude Test
- The question paper shall be comprised of 150 MCQs divided into 4 sections
- The biology portion will carry 65 MCQs
- The chemistry portion will carry 40 MCQs
- The physics portion will carry 30 MCQs
- English portion will carry 15 MCQs
- The test shall be conducted in 165 minutes
- There will be no negative marking in the entry test
- After the entry test, a fifteen-minute aptitude test shall be conducted, with no effect on the position of a candidate.
