Here is 1st year new syllabus 2025 for all punjab boards. The new syllabus has been issued by Punjab board for exams 2026. All the students of class 11 will prepare this syllabus for annual exams 2026.

The new sections and groups have been created. New subjects have been included in the syllabus.

The total marks for class 11 may have changed now. So, the students should be aware of the changes being made to the syllabus and paper pattern.

So, you can see that now there are total 8 groups in intermediate. Home economics group, medical technology group and islamic studies group have been included in the syllabus.

Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) has now been named the General Science Group. The students who want to study computer science in class 11 will take the general science group.

Here is the list of all subjetcs for 1st year smart syllabus. Earlier this week, the smart syllabus of 9th class was issued by PECTA. Now the new smrt syllabus for 1st year has been released. 

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced on Friday that 1st year smart syllabus is being finalized. You can download the final syllabus in pdf.

All subjects' syllabi and subject names are given. The following syllabus will be followed by all Punjab boards.

As you know, the students of 9th class now choose from 6 groups instead of three. They can do matriculation in the following 6 groups:

1. Matric Science

2. Matric Arts (Humanities)

3. Matric-Tech Fashion Design group

4. Matric-Tech Agriculture Sciences group

5. Matric-Tech Health Sciences Group

6. Matric-Tech Computer Sciences group

You can choose any group at 9th class.

As you know, there are 6 groups for the 9th class, and the students can choose any one from these groups. The subjects for every group are given below.

Important Note:

Islamiat compulsory, for 100 marks, will be taught in 9th class only. Pakistan studies, for 100 marks, will be taught in the 10th class only.

 Federal board, FBISE is an educational board that deals with the students of federal areas and abroad. The syllabus and the total marks and marks division for this board for Higher Secondary School level, HSSC level is given here.

3. Difference between HSSC and Intermediate

FBISE HSSC Part 1 Syllabus

The federal board has given instructions on its website as I have described below. The syllabus for 1st year, class 11 for the federal board is given as:

Compulsory subjects

These subjects are compulsory regardless of what elective subjects you choose. These are mandatory for every student of class 11.

1. Urdu (compulsory) OR Pakistani Culture(for foreign students)
2. English ( Compulsory)
3. Translation of Holy Quran
4. Islamic Education compulsory (for Muslims) OR Religious Eduction (For non-Muslims)

Elective Subjects

The board has divided the subjects into 3 groups and the students have to choose one group from the given three groups. 

Every group has three or more subjects. So, the student will take three elective subjects.

Groups 1 (Pre-engineering group)

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics

Group 2 (Pre-medical group)

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

Groups 3 (General Science/Computer Science)

ANY THREE subjects from the following:

• Physics
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Computer Science and Entrepreneurship
• Statistics

Groups 4 (Technical/Inter-Tech Group)

There are many subjects and groups under this Group. The students will select the subjects according to their group specifications. The details on how to choose subjects for Inter-tech groups is given.

Groups 5 (Humanities /Social Science Group)

The student will choose ANY THREE subjects from the following list.

So, there are total of 7 subjects in part 1 of HSSC in the federal board. 

FBISE HSSC Part 2 Syllabus

Federal board HSSC II syllabus and total marks are given below.

Compulsory subjects

The compulsory subjects for HSSC II are given below.

1. Urdu (compulsory)
2. English ( Compulsory)
3. Translation of Holy Quran
4. Pakistan Studies

Elective Subjects

The elective subjects will be same as were in HSSC I.

Total marks of HSSC I FBISE

The total marks are broken here as:

Compulsory subjects

• English = 100 marks
• Urdu / Pakistani Culture = 100 marks
• Translation of Holy Quran = 50 marks
• Islamic Education / Religious Education = 50 marks

Here is the details of the marks and the syllabus of the federal board for class 9th and 10th. This post is valid till 2025.

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) issued new syllabus for MDCAT 2023. The test pattern and division of marls are also discussed in this post.

PMDC Pakistan New National Syllabus for MDCAT 2023

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has issued a new national syllabus for MDCAT so that MDCAT can be taken across the country on the same syllabus and pattern. I have uploaded here the syllabus in pdf so that you can download it easily.

 Here is Punjab board Nazra Quran and tarjuma Tul Quran syllabus 2023 for all classes. Tarjum tul Quran syllabus for classs 9, class 10, class 11, and class is given. The primary schools section and elementary schools syllabus division is given in pdf.

Nazra Quran / Tarjuma Tul Quran syllabus 2023

There is still a type of ambiguity in the syllabus division. I have shared here Nazra Quran and Tarjuma tul Quran syllabus for all classes 1-12. 

In this regard tarjuma tul Quran syllabus for 9th class and 1st year are given. 

This syllabus is applicable to all board in Punjab i.e. Lahore board, Sahiwal board, Gujranwala board, Rawalpindi board, Sargodha board, DG Khan board, Multab board, Faisalabad board and Bhawalapur board.

Nazra Quran Syllabus for Primary school

Primary schools will start Nazra Quran from class 1. The class wise syllabus is given below:

Class 1 = Noorani Qaida + Last 4 Surah of Holy Quran

Class 2 = Parah 1-2

Class 3 = Parah 3-8

Class 4 = Parah 9-18

Class 5 = Parah 19-30

In this way, the Nazrah Quran will be complete in 5th class. Now here is the syllabus for Tarjuma Tul Quran from class 6 to class 8 for elementary school:
