The happiest day of my life essay

It is hard to define a day as the happiest. There are many occasions where I was overjoyed. But I can still recall the utmost enjoyment that I got when my father bought me my first bicycle. I was 11 years when I got my first bicycle.

I remember that I had been longing for a bicycle since I was 8 years. I took 3 years of daily requesting and convincing my father to buy me a bicycle. It was 20th of March 2021 when my father went to the city to buy a bicycle for me.

I could not sleep the night before my father went to the city. I was always thinking I would have to get a bicycle tomorrow. That morning was delightful. I went to school for my last exam paper. I knew that there were at least five holidays before the result.

I took my exam and rushed back home. My father had not come yet. I impatiently waited for him. I stood on the house door looking to the road where my father was to come from. Soon I saw him coming. I jumped with joy and ran towards him. I found a nice bicycle. I instantly rode it and went to my friends.

I went to everyone I knew in the village to tell him/her that I had got a new bicycle. All my friends and relatives praised the bicycle. I roamed the whole day on my bicycle. I even missed my lunch on that day. It was a wonderful day in my life. It took a month for my craze for a bicycle to wane.
